Good car. Terrible experience with the dealership and salesperson. Waited for months for a car we ordered that was supposed to be delivered before Thanksgiving, only to have them "add" over $1000 worth of worthless accessories and then go to elaborate steps to conceal what they did, refusing to provide copies of the deal documents, for example, before we arrived at the dealership. We will never do business with this dealership again. Easily the worst experience we have had at any car dealership in some time.

I will like to commend both Brian n Kevin at Mercedes of Westmont. I’ve been going there for the last five years n I think they’re the best one’s yet. Everything went smooth from the time I dropped off my car till I picked up my car. My Service advisor, Brian Reed was very professional n polite. Brian listened to all my concerns n addressed them appropriately. Kevin, processed the loaner car n he was very nice as well. I must say the cashier was not nice.

Most people hate having to go through the car buying process because of the haggling, fear of encountering unscrupulous car sales people and having to try to make sure that you are getting a fair deal with all of the mark-ups. I was one of those people...lol. Well I am so glad that I made a visit to the Mercedes-Benz of Westmont and had Sylvia as my Sales Consultant. She exceeded all of my expectations from the time I walked into the door until the time I drove off the lot with my vehicle and even after the sale. Her attentiveness to the little details, follow through w/concerns, questions and just overall courtesy is top notch and unmatched in this industry. I had been to a number of dealerships prior to arriving here and was disappointed with those experiences but I can truly say that she and Tom come highly recommended.

Timothy is the man and Paul is a beast! The moment it was my turn, Timothy was very attentive and gladly listened to my problem as well as what I wanted to be done. One of my tires had a hole in the side wall, they found it. He communicated the importance of inspecting my other tires to the mechanics as I requested. I bombarded Timothy with questions and where my current train of thought was under the circumstances. I had to leave to go to school in the afternoon, so these guys were working under some pressure. Although I couldn't replace one tire because they didnt have any regular tires in stock. Timothy printed out their entire listing of what they had and what I was looking for as I mentioned earlier. When push came to shove, at 2pm I had to make the call to replace all 4 tires, balance, and align everything. Things were not looking good, I had to be out of there by 3:30pm. And I was asking for a tall order. Timothy truly moved mountains for me. He got a second mechanic to work on my car. Within 1 hour and 30 minutes, these heroes replaced all 4 tires on my rims, balanced the tires, aligned my car, completed a multiple point inspection, washed, and cleaned my car. I was out of there by 4pm and made it to school 5 minutes before class. Everything worked out. I especially want to thank my main man Paul who was in charge of the operation. I would not have made it to school on time if not for him. Listen brother, if you see this, thanks a ton. Timothy went beyond helpful, this crazy guy was always communicating with me before proceeding. Answering my questions until my mind was at ease. Always checking up on me to see if I needed anything. There was absolutely nothing stopping Timothy from getting answers for me. He should be an interrogator for the CIA. THE MANS A GENIUS. Everyone was nice. I was disappointed that I was not able to go over my pricey paperwork as to what was done or what was upcoming next. Last time my service consultant went over my paperwork following. Mine this time, though a very nice guy, don't get me wrong just took me to the desk to pay and left. When I asked the cashier if I could have this explained to me, she pointed to an employee speaking with another customer. I waited a while but had to go back to work . Also the loaner, very nice by the way was dirty. Garbage inside, dog hair all over the passenger seat, fingerprints and dust. Quite disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I will still use your facility, it's just not what it used to be in what I wanted from a high end vehicle

Unfortunately I had multiple unpleasant experiences with this dealership. I had the chance to work with two different vendors. Both of them were unprofessional, inefficient and impolite. This is the result of a lack of education, both on the professional and human side. During my second experience there, I was willing to pay in cash the car, using a personal check and a personal loan from PNC bank. As soon they realized that, they started building up a series of ridiculous and unconstitutional motivations regarding the legitimacy of the personal loan. Lost my patience, I decided to look for another car in the Mercedes-Benz of Barrington. Both the checks were accepted without any problem, in demonstration of the illegitimacy of the Mercedes-Benz of Westmont absurds motivations. If I am using my time to write this review is because I do not tolerate ignorance and unprofessionalism. This dealership is smearing the name of a top car brand with almost a century of history.

I think the people there are great, but I have two complaints. I bought a used Mercedes, which is a great car, but it had a small defect. The plastic cover for the seatbelt on the driver?s side kept falling off. In fact, I bought the car knowing that it needed to be fixed. They put it back on and I was happy. Then it fell off again shortly after I bought the car. Then again and again and again. I brought the car in at least 7 times to get that part fixed. I think they finally fixed it properly this last time, because it?s been a couple of weeks and it?s staying on. That?s a lot of time I had to spend at that dealership to get that little thing taken care of. At least two to three hours each time. The second complaint is that they will call me to tell me my car is ready to be picked up, but then it isn?t. I realize time works differently at car dealerships, but it?s frustrating to show up to get your keys and then have to wait 30 minutes for them to bring your car around. Maybe, I?ve been unlucky, but that isn?t great customer service, especially when I keep having to bring my car in for a defective part. My recommendation to them is to call people when the car is truly ready and after it?s been through the car wash.

Would NOT recommend buying from this dealership! I recently purchased a car from Sylvia/Tom and have had several issues from day one of pick up. Customer service is nonexistent. I was promised a few minor things from the team to close the deal, and once everything was agreed upon, I was no longer a priority. I had to follow up every few days, called managers, and paid visits to the dealerships to collect on what I was promised. If it was not for my persistency, they would have never followed up on their word. As soon as you sign the papers, you mean nothing to them. Additionally, the car has been in the shop for an over a week already (purchased 2 months ago) due sensor issues. This is something that should have been caught and fixed prior but when I reached out to Sylvia, she told me she wouldn’t do anything about it. The cherry on top was when she insulted me by saying I was too demanding. Sylvia and the Westmont office made me feel terrible for asking for normal requests. Ultimately, I do love the car itself but my experience was hindered from the way I was treated by the sales people.

It’s been almost a month since I bought my GLC and I’m still extremely blown away by the excellent customer service I experience with AL when I bought my car. He was so kind and made the process seamless and answered all my questions during the process. What really stood out is after i purchase Al hopped back in my car with me for another 30 minutes to train me on how to set up everything and how everything works. I drove off the lot with confidence and security in my new vehicle and especially because I bought certified pre owned I couldn’t have been happier with coming to Mercedes Benz Westmont!

I would personally like to thank Mercedes-Benz of Westmont for their exceptional service! I had inquired about an SUV that I really wanted. I was put in touch with Al Di Giannatonio whom reached out to me. Gave me the full update on the SUV from the availability and all the details. I went in to look at the SUV and was greeted warmly by the sales staff. Met up with Al and went out to look at the SUV (which was completely ready to go and detailed as well). Went on a good test drive with Al and was able to do some city and a small bit of a highway test. Then came the time to go with all the financing. Al and the sales team worked with me on that and as I was trading my current car in (I received a very fair trade-in cost for that car). Al and Christina from the financing team worked everything out and I went home with my new car that night. After all was said and done I was there about 2 hrs and honestly it was one of the best car experiences I've had. Thank you to all of the staff at Mercedes-Benz of Westmont especially Al and Christina. Would definitely do business with them again in the future!!

Westmont act like alley mechanics keep breaking stuff to keep you coming back. My car is serviced when it time. But after that they come up with you need this done. I spent over 8000 On my car in 2022. That had regular maintenance. Help me make it make sense. MB of Westmont have crooks working for then. Over charging people. The bill is always over 1000. I don't care what you have done. I had to take my car back twice for something i paid over 5000..00 for. I am not rich this my 4 Mercedes never ever have i paid this much between the 4 cars. The car looks good when i take it in gor services it is good ride good. When i get it back i can tell something has change. Something need to be done about Mercedes and there ridiculous prices. I will be filing a BBB report and consumer fraud report again Mercedes. The Mercedes in Orland Park just as bad. Mercedes stop miss using your customers.

The first time I brought my car here, they gave it back to me with the check engine light still on. Which was the whole reason I was there in the first place. The second time I brought my car in, they did a "full inspection" with the 40K service - yet somehow missed the 6-inch crack in my windshield. It makes me wonder what else they're missing.

I bought a used car there recently. I worked with few people during the process (especially Earl) and they all went above and beyond . The negotiations were quick and fair, great finance person, quick paperwork, just gentle extended warranty suggestions. After the sale I had several questions and they all were handled perfectly. They got a missing front plate bracket from the previous owner and mailed it to me, super nice. The detailing shop they use needs to do a better job though, but overall I am very happy and would recommend them a lot! 5 stars!

I won’t come here ever again. So I respectful stuff work here except the sales man. We tried to close up a deal they gave me certain Apr and on top of the payment with the Apr with they gave me 85$ extra monthly fee that no one knows to explain. To be more clear down payment covered all of the other fees. The finance guys were so disrespectful and rude I ended up leaving the place and never going back.

These guys are more than just AutoNation employees, they are your friends who care about you and the issue that you are dealing with. The manager Xavier actually cares it's not always about the money it's about keeping that relationship, I wish all Mercedes carried those morals, etc... Even the guys in the parts department are AMAZING!!! We WISH Mercedes would get more involved with the non-profits in the community, my background is VP in marketing/development. We went to Atlanta, GA to present our presentation we got the run around but it's OK people started working from home or leaving the company. The gentlemen could have called or emailed us, who knows maybe he was one of many who left the company. We haven't given up because every major company wants to find more ways to bring more money into the company our desire is to be a part of Mercedes. Especially when it's something that's never been done before. There’s a problem with my fuel service door panel. The part was ordered. I was informed of its arrival and the customer care manager mediately took care of the problem and the part was replaced. At no time did I feel that I was just a customer, but the reverse that I was very important to them, and that my vehicle was properly taken care of.

Went to service the vehicle and the only thing wrong was a light bulb that needed replacement they give the estimate and I approved yo get it fix. Next day when I used the car at night it gave the the alert that the same light was bad. I texted the service agent and she wasn?t really helping ?it could be the contact socket? ? or maybe loose ..? I replied Can someone take a look tomorrow? ?I won?t be here tomorrow!? Can anybody else fix it please ? Sure stop by tomorrow! Sooo disappointed that they did not verify that the light was working properly before I pickup the car and I had to make arrangements again to take it back !! Over 20 min drive in the snow !

Ever since the major diesel recall occurred, my vehicle has been in the shop at 3 times for a check engine problem. Yes the problem gets corrected but each time parts availability is the real issue. 3 weeks most recently and before that it was 5 weeks. Thank goodness for a loaner car!

I purchased a 2022 GLB that I was unaware had summer tires. I immediately contacted my sales guy Hasan Muratovic who agreed to replace all 4 tires at no cost as he was aware of me purchasing the car for travel . I arrived at my appointment time in Westmont. I had to wait briefly until a manager instructed a service advisor to tend to me. After that, all went very smoothly. My car service was finished when they said it would be. I used their shuttle service which was prompt both ways. No additional service was suggested except wiper blade change, which had never been done.

I dropped my car off at 1pm and since it was a computer problem they didn’t know how long it would take & promised to call me the next day by 11am with a status as I told them I had to have my car for the weekend as family was coming g from out of town. No call at 11am, so I call at 11:30 & was told they’d call me right back… 3 hours later still no word. After hounding then I was finally told my car was finished. They were willing to give me a loaner (although initially they said they didn’t have any & I took a Lyft home) since there was such a lack of communication, which was appreciated.

They installed tires about a year ago. 1 week ago my low tire light came on. I reached out and Harry said bring it in let us look. My schedule (like most) is jam packed. I took my car in a while ago and was told there was an issue that needed to fix at my general A servicing appointment. I had Harry as a service advisor that first time and i was running short on time the day i came in and he told me about the issues with the car. I told him I unfortunately cannot stay longer (was running late for a birthday party) and would have to bring the car back and he kind of rudely responded “well we didn’t have time for you today anyways”. Kind of threw me back a little bit considering i spent 4 hours of my morning for an inspection and a service which cost me hundreds of dollars and my entire morning. Not sure if he didn’t like me or was having a bad day but he made me feel really not cared for and honestly like I was annoying. Brought it back a couple weeks later for an appointment to see if my extended warranty will approve the fixes for the car. I brought the car in and my service advisor Valerie handled everything for me. All repairs needed and communication with the warranty company she dealt with along with keeping me informed on other small issues I had with my GLK. Valerie is awesome! Very easy to talk to and she explains things in best detail in comparison to the other service advisors there, she also doesn’t make me feel like an inconvenience for needing assistance. Very happy with my experience this time around and would definitely continue coming to the westmont location because of Valerie. Car runs and drives brand new after my repairs and I’m very pleased.

Earl the Pearl-a devoted punk rocker and a father to some chunky little squirrels-made my day. I HATE car buying. After going to a few dealerships, I’d just about had it with intolerable salespeople who grossly overestimated their ability to negotiate a sale and thought they could take advantage of a young, feminine person. Thankfully I, accompanied by my father, decided to give this dealership a try. Earl skipped all the normal BS, showed me exactly what I’d asked for, and worked quickly to get everything squared away. I think the test drive took longer than the conversation about price. There was no haggling, no bait-and-switch, no insistence on paying for unnecessary warranties or packages…just good, old-fashioned respect, transparency, and efficiency. I worked with Kimberly through financing. My foggy brain was failing me after a long day of walking out of dealerships empty handed. Kimberly was incredible and patiently explained everything (sometimes twice) to make sure I could feel confident that I was getting a fair contract. By the end of the sale, Earl and my dad were chumming it up over talk about music while I giddily sat in my newly purchased SUV, relieved to be done after an exhausting month of car shopping.

I am a Acura girl… I have own 3 and before that I love a Toyota. I am a little spoiled when it come to owning a car i’m am used to a certain kind of treatment, and your sales person remember your name or pretends. The service dept is cordial and polite. Acura was always a 10 in fact my sales person at Acura is the one that convinced me that I need to try it something different. Mercedes is a different kind of breed at the services level. I knew the service was going to be weird everything got a price tag. But the people that work there act like revenue robots… my service person Valerie did make me feel at easy but not enough to consider buying another one … now I love the suv so far but the price tag for every thing is ridiculous….I don’t feel like Mercedes is the type of dealer ship you can just walk into and ask for help on something simple like how do I work the windshield wiper.

It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this dealership. 9/2022 I recently had my vehicle serviced and this dealership hasn’t missed the mark. Quality of care is always excellent. When I returned to pick up my vehicle I had to wait another 40 minutes because they couldn’t find my keys. It was extremely frustrating. I wasn’t offered any compensation I guess because the repair was covered under warranty. With all that being said, I will still recommend the dealership everyone gets one pass.

I got generic feedback on an issue that I asked for feedback on. I rate this place 1 step above a Jiffy Lube. This is not a place to take your AMG if you're looking for highly qualified service.

I’ve had my car for a year now, and it’s not so much a complaint on that. Also, I get this is sales. But the experience I had purchasing was about 6-8 hours long- with my kids, which I’m sure they took advantage of. In the middle of accepting terms they said they couldn’t find the keys- FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR after we had just drove it. Said they were checking security cameras and asking all around. My salesman was Mohammed Khalil. He then says it was found and says to me quietly that one of the other salesman was supposed to sell my car today and stole the keys in attempt to block the sale?! Now whether it was the hide the keys tactic, or if one of his COLLEAGUES had actually stolen it, how shady is that at a “reputable” dealership. This was when I had already went through the financing portion. Issues left and right throughout the process. They are shady, and if colleagues are really stealing keys do not go here. The complaint on my car is, when test driving, they had the auto-start and off turned off. This was because it is defective, and will make my car turn off completely and horrible to start up if I forget to turn off this setting (it is automatic every time upon starting, and impossible to turn this setting off). I’ve been stuck on a busy street almost in accidents because my car will shut down when idle momentarily. Again, a fault on buyer for not realizing this setting was off, but it was intentional they turned it off and told my husband a lie when test driving.

I recently had my S63 serviced at this location and Shannon Patt was my service agent. Although it took a few weeks to get the repairs approved and the work completed, the service I received was phenomenal. Shannon was quick to respond to every single text and was great with updating me on the status of my warranty and repairs. I was given a 2022 loaner vehicle, so the length of time it took wasn’t too bothersome.

We had a great experience buying from Westmont Mercedes. We arrived one night with 30 min left to close, when we met with Chris who showed us exactly what was in our budget. We came back ( unexpectedly because we were going to go with a dealer next door but so glad we didn’t !) on a busy weekend and since Chris was busy, he had Earl help us. Earl went above and beyond, showing us even some of the unique functions of the car. He was patient and answered all our questions. At first, I was charged $271 dollars to run a diagnostic check on the car when the battery light was on the car. Given the fact the car's battery needed to be jumped and the light was battery light was on, it seems pretty obvious what the problem was. I also asked to check to make sure the problem was not the alternator as I didn't want to have to return again. Later, the charges were dropped and the battery was replaced. But, on the visit, the dealership tried to sell me a warranty to run periodic checks on the car. The warranty didn't make sense given my car buying habits and the warranty seemed to a way to increase revenues at the expense of the consumer, but the sales pitch continued. Finally, the dealership has stopped providing rentals for the most part and completed stopped providing shuttle service and now use Lyft to transport customers. The Lyft driver showed up 20 minutes passed the stated time and the car check engine light was constantly flashing as the engine sputtered after each stop and started. Really want to avoid this kind of service. But the repair was made and appears to be done well.

🚫If you are having any problems with your tires DO NOT take your car here!!! Please take your car to Belle Tire! Better service and a much better price. I have run flat tires and a nail got stuck in my tire. They quoted me almost 400$. I have an aunt who works at the Mercedes Benz dealership in Michigan. She called them to try to tell them fixing the tire is a easy fix and even gave them the directions on how to fix it ( plug the tire from the inside) and they was RUDE! I took it to Belle Tire they plugged the tire from the inside which is permanent fix for run flat tires and Belle Tire did all that for FREE! Take your car to Belle Tire if you have any problems. You will thank me later and you will save money!!

This is the second time that the service department has left me feeling like I got totally screwed. Several years ago, I had a set of tires installed. The vehicle started vibrations as soon as I left the dealership. I had no problem with vibrations until the tires were changed. I returned to the dealership and they kept my vehicle 4 days allegedly checking the tires and wheels including, according to the service rep, balancing the wheels, rotating them and even taking a new wheel from another vehicle. The conclusion was that a wheel must have a slight imperfection which was causing the vibrations. They could not identify the actual problem wheel and this conclusion even though the wheels were not vibrating with the old tires. My thought is that the mechanic installing the tires damaged a wheel. Most recently, I had a 9am appointment to replace a battery. I told the service rep that the vehicle had the original battery (2015 GL550) and would go dead if not started for a few days. The vehicle had less than 1000 miles since the annual A service. I was told that they would do diagnostic testing to verify issue and that cost would go against the overall labor cost. When they finally finished installing the battery after no other issues were found, it was nearly 2pm. The labor cost was nearly $600 which is totally out of line for a simple battery replacement. Totally disappointed and screwed is not least of my feelings for Westmont. They definitely will never see this face in their dealership.

I didn?t purchase my car from Mercedes-Benz of Westmont but wish I did. The customer service is excellent, in particular the service department. Let?s start with Jeff the manager. I was almost stranded scared with my daughter in the car at the gas station because I had been there for an hour stuck unable to get the gas tank door open. I decided to drive up the street to the dealership seek any help I could get. When I arrived Jeff immediately took action after hearing my emergency. He had a brief conversation with Shannon who?s the best customer care manager I?ve ever encountered. She made sure I was checked in and scheduled my vehicle for a service appointment to fix the other issues I?m having with the horn. Shannon was very professional kind and patient as she assisted me. Again I?ve I wish I would have purchased from them, but for sure my next purchase will be from Mercedes Benz of Westmont because of them.

This is the second time that I have been totally disappointed with the service at this dealership. Previously I had tires mounted and vehicle started vibration that was not happening with the old tires. Dealership kept car for 4 days allegedly checking the issue including taking tires off a new car. Even though car only developed vibration after they installed the new tires, I was told that one of the rims must be flawed even though they couldn't tell me which. For a simple battery replacement I didn't expect a screw-up. My 9am appointment had me at the dealership until nearly 2pm plus they totally misled me on final price. They preformed a diagnostic test which should have been adjusted based on the ultimate work and labor costs was not honored. I'm still steaming and definitely will not be returning to the dealership for service or considering a purchase. Totally disappointed and disgusted 😤

My last visit was disappointing. I kept asking for a service rep to call via the website and email. Nobody ever did. I drove 2 hours to the dealership and the experience was not the same as in the past. I wanted to view the S-Class Benz but the salesman couldn’t get the door open. Said the fob battery was dead. It was the showroom model. The car loaner guy was checking his Facebook acct while I was reading the terms of the agreement. When my car was complete, I received a text at 3:57pm it was complete and they close at 4pm. It also stated I could keep the loaner until Monday. Again, I drove 2 hours so that put me in a panic. I was really upset. It hasn’t always been this way. In the past it was a great experience. But not recently.

When car was done, in the past the porter would bring the car out front, and you could go to the show room, look around, sit, whatever. Now they bring you to the back, no where to sit (oh sorry an old dirty picnic bench I assume is for staff to eat at) and had to wait for 10 minutes while they could even find a porter to bring my car out. Being doing business with you people for a lot of years (3rd or 4th MB) and your level of service is notably disappointing.

I originally came to get my back left break light fixed, the part wasn’t in the shop so I had to return next business day. I wasn’t serviced at my car I had to find someone to help (lost a point). Next, I told them to also to top off my fluids and he said okay. Of course it wasn’t because 2 days later I got an alert saying 2 of my fluids were low (lost another point). Once again I had to look for someone to help me (lost another point) but he was quick on the service for someone who didn’t have an appointment but what’s the point of having the offices near the service line if no one is in them? Fix that it’s highly annoying.

Today I found out so much about my first new Mercedes & it was due to an incredible guy in the service department by the name of Ardit Sulejmani!! This gentleman was very busy & booked, I did not have an appointment however, while he had limited time he paused to assist me giving me everything I needed in less than 5 minutes! I am so grateful to God for outstanding customer service! Kudos to Mercedes for hiring such an incredible guy! My first-time shopping for a car from at the Mercedes dealership, and this will probably be my last. The outmost worst customer service I’ve ever seen. From The General Supervisor (Jason Saxton), the financial department (Christina Pucci and Mo Salah), to the Salesclerk (Kimberly Kager), I have never experienced or witnessed an unprofessional environment like this. I bought the vehicle on July 27, 2022, for commercial enterprise. I had communicated this will the Salesclerk, Kimberly. At no point in time did she or anyone else from the Mercedes inform me about the registration taking longer than 30 days. The vehicle is referenced as “Certified”. The vehicle was not certified in any respect, it needed the brakes replaced, oil change. I was not informed that the transmission had been replaced. I communicated many times that I would need the registration as soon as possible, without the registration I cannot use this vehicle for business purposes. It has been More than2 months, no one from the dealership will take my calls, emails, or return any voicemails. They will not provide me with details as to where the process of the registration is, nor provide me with a contact information for the corporate office. The General Manager, Jason Saxton, has threatened to hold my registration longer if I keep calling. Or if I threaten to sue. If you would like a professional environment, who communicates, is honest, and not chasing after your penny- go to another dealership. This dealership is not interested in the wellbeing of their customers or the quality of their vehicles. This has been the most frustrating process I have ever dealt with. And I just don’t understand why you would sell a car that has issues with the title, If they were just honest and they would’ve said it’s going to take about a month and a half to three months to get your registration I would’ve never bought the car in the first place…

Worst mistake to come here on a Friday morning. I have a check engine light on and the service person informs me it’s $230 to check the light. Just purely shocked they don’t tell you any price up front when scheduling for service. I don’t think I’ll ever come to this dealership again. Took my vehicle in with a list of concerns, dropped it off on a Sunday and filled out the envelope on what I would like to have completed for my appointment. I was then charged for an oil change that I did not ask for because I accidentally marked a box day on the drop off key envelope, which then I was charged for an oil change I did not ask for. I also checked the box that I wanted to be notified about all repairs before any work was done. I did get a call and was not told about the oil change at that time so when I showed up and saw the charges for oil change I was upset. I refused to pay then was told they'd check with manager and without confrontation they adjusted the price and did not end up charging me for oil change. For that I was thankful. Be specific when dropping off vehicle, on what you will be charged for, and what you want them to do.

This is long overdue but I wanted to make sure I provided a review for future customers. My experience with Westmont Mercedes-Benz was my first step into the luxury car market and the Manager, Mark J, and Sales Associate, Jim F, played a pivotal role in making the process one that was rewarding. We entered the market when the cars were scarce, buyers were plenty, and dealerships had no reason to work to keep you as a customer - cars were being sold before even arriving on the lot! I appreciated my team at Westmont MB because they didn't become complacent in response to the favorable climate and really strived to provide us with exactly what we wanted. We were leveling up from a 2013 Toyota Prius and 2014 Mazda 3 so this was a huge step for us and they were cognizant of that. After a short search, we ultimately placed an order for a car and Jim F held out hands through the entire process. He made sure we entertained every feature we would or would not want so that we got the car that was perfectly suited for us. We ended up going with a GLE 350. As everyone has experienced, in one way or another, global supply chain issues threw a few bumps on the road. This meant that we waited for about 4 months before finally seeing the car but Jim F was proactive in providing us updates along the way. This helped ease our anxiety and made us feel catered to. Global supply chain issues also meant that we didn't get some of the features that we ordered. This is where Mark went above and beyond my expectations to make sure we drove off in the car with the features we wanted. I really cannot say enough about how happy I am with the level of professionalism and integrity Mark displays to his customers. I can't stress enough how well-aware I am that he did not need to cater to us. If we didn't choose to move forward with the car, they could have sold our car in a second, and perhaps for more than they sold it to me 4 months prior! This was truly an excellent experience in the luxury car market and I'm grateful to have Jim F and Mark J on my side. This was my first experience with Westmont Mercedes-Benz, but definitely not my last!

Needed rear brake pads, light just came on a few weeks ago. Interesting how it just went on 2 months after my special warranty ended that included free pads?? Hit my tire on a curb, which led to a small out pouch. Warranty is still in effect for tires, which I purchased because of these high performance tires. Warranty won?t take care of it because my tread is low. Less than a year ago, had my car in the shop, they stated on statement, ? tires are good, over 7/32 tread and no need for new tires?. So in less than a year and less than 10 thousand miles, my tread is less than 3/32??? Interesting how that is the amount just needed for them not to cover the tire. Is this for real or a scam? I?m not happy! Why would they tell me less than a year ago my tires were in basically excellent condition? Everything sounds suspicious to me. Will be letting everyone know to not trust these warranty?s and measure your tread before bringing to dealer for repair. Also, it has never been an issue to get a loaner car, now if you don?t book appointment 1 month in advance your out of luck. I was basically stranded for 3 days waiting for my car, having to get rides from friends and family. Then being embarrassed when they ask, don?t you have a Mercedes?? They don?t give you a loaner? I have been with this dealer for 20 years and this is my 4th Mercedes. I have always been happy with dealership and my service advisor has been AWESOME! Rob Radzik has always taken car of everything, he is one of the reasons I stay with this dealership, I feel comfortable as a woman taking my car in and knowing that Rob will be there. I just wanted to express my disappointment with the warranty issues.

I took my car in for regular maintenance and a battery. When I picked up my car I noticed that my clock was spinning. I called the guy that I was working with and told him about my Clock. He said to me oh it?s still doing that. I said what did you do to my clock. He told me to bring the car back in and they would fix it. Car purchase and sales person were amazing. We love the Acura we purchased from them. On the back end, getting our plates and title has not been so amazing. We used their Automotive Titling Company service. It’s been over 5 months and still no plates or title and no one from the dealership is responding to us. The temporary plate has expired, and when I contacted the titling company what they told me is very concerning. I wouldn’t advise using this service as you have no control as to when the dealership actually gets around to filing the paperwork and paying the sales taxes you’ve already paid the dealership. If you are trying to get ahold of any other departments outside of sales and service - good luck.

I was curious how buying a used 2015 Sonata from a Mercedes? dealership would go down and boy was I surprised! I imagined the deal going down in a poorly lit back room but as we sat next to a $143k showroom Mercedes Benz we were treated as equals. Took my car in for service. Kelly - Service manager and Earl, my sales rep were both very professional and courteous. Was check in quickly and since my vehicle has some factory recalls, they both hooked me up with a loaner and I was out within 10 minutes. They fixed the vehicle and called me for pickup. Again, the check out process was quick and painless. As the vehicle was still under warranty, no bill and was out of the dealership within 5 minutes. They explained me what was done to the vehicle and I was a happy customer. Also, they gave a quick wash and my vehicle was cleaner than when I dropped it off. I recently brought my ML 350 in for oil change and all points check. I did receive a curtesy car to use while my car was in overnight to finish up. That is ok as I would rather shop takes it's time to check everything very good. My service Rep was Valerie and she was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. She was also very nice and personable. I also got to see my salesman Earl, and as usual he stops to say hello and to make sure everything is ok with the service I receive. I do plan on purchasing another vehicle from him in the near future. These two people are my to go to persons at that dealership. I do not mind the 30 minute drive to get there. Arrived fifteen minutes before my scheduled appointment. Ron was right there to assist me out of the car. Asked me to go to his office and wait a few minutes. Before I knew it he was back. Checked the status of my car gave me an estimated time and asked if I wanted to wait. Of course I agreed. After waiting for about two hours I was given the news about my repairs. Not good but acceptable. He got me a loaner, and in a few I was on my way home. Day two, received cal, car ready about 9:30, total due, arrived at 9:30, turn in loaner, received 10% discount, payed cashier, exited premise and said see you next time.

The buying process was extremely difficult. The dealership initially insisted on using a third party notary since I was purchasing from out of state. I suggested signing the paperwork at my local AutoNation dealership but was told that it had to be done by the third party notary. After four days with no contact from the notary, I contacted the General Manager. He was extremely helpful, and the paperwork ended up being overnighted to my local AutoNation dealership. If this had been done from the beginning as I had suggested, the process would have taken considerably less time. I am extremely happy with the vehicle, although I've only had it for two days. The salesperson was extremely helpful and accommodated all my requests for pictures and videos. AutoNation should work to streamline their out of state buying process, since this is a big part of their business and will only continue to grow. Also, CarMax offers shipping, but with AutoNation I had to arrange and coordinate the shipping myself. If AutoNation wants to increase their market share in online auto sales, then they should work to have shipping options available for their customers. The people at the dealership were great, but the processes were extremely frustrating.

Amazing Customer Service!!! When I spoke to Sylvia over the telephone I immediately fell in love with her energy. She was so accommodating to my husband and I. I met with her and the same day and was blown away. I was in the market for over a month looking for a car and of course due to the chip shortage it was beyond hard to find a car. I had encounter so many different sales representatives and so many different personalities during this process. It started to become a big headache. I’ve put money down on a car, but after dealing with Sylvia and Tom. I knew I needed to rethink my decision because I felt so welcomed working with them. After leaving the dealership, I texted Sylvia and told her I will let her know by Monday (little did she know I had already made my mind up I just needed to see if I could get my deposit back, HA!). She told me that she would was going out of town, but she will let Tom know, She was sure he would be happy to help me. I texted Sylvia on Monday and said, “let’s do it!” She welcomed me to the Benz family and most importantly she included me in her personal family by sharing beautiful picture of her trip. I just loved the way she was so tentative to me even out of town. Tom then stepped in and gave that same energy to me and worked as team to make sure I secure my dream car. I was just blown away at this point! Like this is just too good to be true! He was so happy to see me, and I was so happy to see him. He explained the process of securing my car and that I would hear from Sylvia as soon as she returns. Sylvia still reached out after I made my deposit and told me she will follow up once she returns. She returned and provided an eta in through the whole process she provided eta and was beyond professional. The day my car arrived she called and was just as excited as I was. She sent pictures and I couldn’t wait. The day of purchasing she was with me step by step. She made sure I understood how to operate the car and Tom made sure I had my cool Coffee mug to go with my car. 😊 I totally appreciate them! Looking for a car is not an easy process, but having a sales representative that makes you feel comfortable and valued makes it better. Sylvia’s and Tom’s customer service skills has gained them a lifetime customer. I’m happy with the car or my dreams, but even more happy with the team that I spent my money with. We purchased a used 2015 Audi-A3 on October 31, 2021 from Mercedes-Benz of Westmont, IL. The charges for this vehicle in total as shown on the retail purchase agreement was $28840.22. We put a down payment of $1840.22, and our lending bank wire-transferred the remaining $27000. We were way over-charged for Michigan tax and plates/registration on this vehicle in the amount of $976.62. This is the $890 charged for registration/plates plus the overage calculated amount for collected tax on vehicle of $86.62 (1646.22 dealer estimated and collected - $1560 actual tax). They were supposed to obtain our plates through their hired 2nd party company of NISSI, and have them shipped to us. I received a phone call on December 30, 2021 at 11:06AM from NISSI informing me that our DMV refused their paperwork because our driver's license pictures were too dark and that they would ship a check in the exact amount due and the paperwork to the closest DMV server in our area and that on Monday, January 3, 2022 I can go in and sign for my husband (since he works out of town and all paperwork has been completed according to NISSI) and obtain the plates. This is NOT how it went. I had to pay out of pocket $205.94 on January 5. 2022 (as this was my appointment date) in order to obtain the plates after jumping through hoops to get my husband's signature while out of town and get back before 6pm to complete this transaction; as they also refused the check that was sent because it was for too much money. We are owed back a lot of money and they are failing to rectify any of this! They need to be investigated for fraud and theft/racketeering/kickbacks. If they have over-charged us by $976.62 and then made me pay out of pocket unexpectedly for a service that was already supposed to be paid for, then I am positive they have lied and ripped off other customers, especially those from out of state like us! It took them 2 months to even let us know about the plates and registration being rejected and then now are refusing any kind of restitution. I thought Mercedes-Benz had shed the vestiges of their Nazi past years ago, and then I found myself at Mercedes-Benz of Westmont. The hyper-Christian rock music that was playing throughout the showroom was off putting enough (and I'm not talking about regular Christmas music like Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer or Bing Crosby, I'm talking about "Jesus saves, hallelujah, all praise Jesus" Christian rock). Nothing against that genre or those that choose to listen to it, but it makes me and many others uncomfortable. So perhaps not the best choice for a public-facing business. After sitting with a salesperson for almost 2 hours, everything seemed in order and we had the car picked out. There wasn't much negotiation thanks to Covid and supply chain issues, and the salesperson took my information and offer to the manager for approval. This should have been a quick and easy once-over given the aforementioned lack of negotiation. To my absolute shock and horror, the salesperson came back to inform me that the dealership refused to sell me a vehicle, and the manager refused to come talk to me because they were "too busy." To be clear, the manager knew nothing about me except my name, where I was from, and that I agreed to the asking price. He REFUSED to sell me the car, and he REFUSED to speak with me. So that was that. To be clear, the salesperson was friendly and more than capable; I don't believe this was their fault. They were ready to sell me the car! However, it's unfortunate and deplorable that they were forced to follow an order like that from a superior. This kind of behavior has no place in modern society. Do not support the hate-filled scum that manage this dealership.

I came in for a prepaid service to be told it expired a month ago and I had to pay another $600 to have what was paid for already. No warning, no consideration for the pandemic, nothing. Asked for a shuttle to be told I lived too far so I had to wait five hours to get my car back, after fixing my airbag recall, I will never step foot in there again. I can stay in the area to get mistreated.

It’s a charge of $189 to find out what’s going on with your car if you decline their service(my check engine light was on). Kelli didn’t explain any details of problem but the price of maintenance was $5962.

When my son and I went to the dealership, we didn’t realize the dealership had just closed for the day, but Mo was kind enough to let us in to do a quick look at a car I liked in the showroom. Because of his kindness, I made sure to work with him on the car that I wanted to purchase. The car was at another Autonation out of state, and Mo along with his GM helped make the transaction smooth. Although the car took extremely long to get shipped, I was aware of the possibility of the delay due to all the shortage issues with covid, so I was fine and I don’t think it was the fault of Mercedes Westmont. At the end it worked out… the car was beautiful, certified, clean and I was glad financing didn’t take long. My only suggestion to other buyers is, if you plan on financing, check out your rates at your bank first, as it may be lower. I had an approval from my bank but because of the shipping delay it expired, so I went with the dealership’s financing expecting it to be similar to my bank, but I was disappointed with the interest offered as it was higher than I expected. That’s the only part of the process that I was not happy with. However, the finance person was friendly. Overall, I would recommend Mercedes Westmont, and would refer my family and friends to checkout the dealership and recommend Mo.

My husband and I went to Mercedes to purchase a car. We had an appointment sent with Raffi. After test driving a few cars, we went inside to start the process. Raffi printed out the MSRP for my husband and went to get numbers. He came back a few minutes later with a total price that was $10k more than the price on the MSRP. When we asked him about the price, he pulled out a few additional signed contracts from other buyers where he shows a listing price and the overall total being outrageously higher than the listed price. One example was a selling price of $117k and charging the buyer $125k and said they can just because. We walked out and ask we were leaving Raffi said to us “I guess Mercedes isn’t for you.”—what absolutely terrible customer service and what a degrading comment to make to any potential client. We left and went to BMW and just next door to them and looked at cars that were listed at a higher price than the Mercedes and the payment was less than what Mercedes gave us. Buyers- be aware of going into this dealership and them overcharging you for a car simply because they can! Go right next door to BMW of Westmont and see Paul for a much better client experience!

Received an unusual warning on my dashboard, luckily near my Mercedes dealership. Service tech reviewed the message and was quite confident that a new battery was needed on my six year old auto. It was mid afternoon on a Friday..Replacement would take a few hours. could not wait, no available courtesy cars, chose the option to be driven home and picked up on Saturday. Not wanting to rush a repair, was pleased to pick up the next day, car performs much better.

For the first time in 12 years I got really bad service. Had trouble getting someone to intake my car even though I had reservation. I called three times to see if my car was ready after 2 o?clock when my car was taken in the night before for routine A service. Never got a call back. Manager blamed that on the fact they are down one service person and blamed the government for that problem. Hopefully, they can hire one person who wants a job to help them out. My last two cars were bought at this agency. Still like my salesman.

Our experience started out well. We found a vehicle for a good price that we absolutely loved. We flew into Chicago to pick up the previous loaner vehicle which had only 5000 miles on it. During the initial inspection nothing was noted as being at issue. One of the reps helped us set up the ME app on our phone and linked to the car, when it didn't immediately connect we were told that it might take a little time. All Good right? We drove the 400 miles home and when got there noticed a bulge in the right driver side tire. The Bulge was in such a location that it was simply blind luck that we saw it. Since we had not hit any debris or any huge potholes. We had a tire place check it out where they determined that the Bulge was most likely cause by an internal defect to the tire. When we reached out to Mercedes-Benz of Westmont we were basically told you SOL that they never would have allowed it to leave the shop that way, so contact that the tire manufacturer. Additionally the ME app that was linked to the car never synced - so still doesn't work. Westmont could have had a customer for life, but there Cavalier attitude on the tire that could have blown out and killed us ruined that chance of that!🤬

They changed their loaner vehicle policy for warranty & extended warranty clients. They now charge a per day fee ( plus fuel, IPass, etc...) instead of including it as part of the overall client experience. Also if you need/want a loaner vehicle you need to wait 2-4 weeks to set up your appointment for service.

Absolute worst customer service. Had my 2021 GLE 53 towed there by MB Roadside Service since it was dead. Barely and update into status after 24 hours. Even went to dealer and service depot was empty. Finally talked to Harry, my service advisor, asked to be kept updated and that I need a loaner. That was on Tuesday. Today is Friday. Called and left multiple messages and heard nothing back. Head of service dept was out, the dealer GM is on holiday, (or vice versa). It’s 9pm on Friday and never heard anything. This is literally worst customer service by any dealer I’ve ever seen. By far.

The car was towed and we accompanied the tow truck. When we arrived we were greeted by Brian who made us feel welcome. We disccussed the problem and discussed that the car was also due for service so we decided to do it all at the same time. Brian was very accomodating and was able to find what my car needed. He also informed me that the service will cost $875 plus fixing the problem. We were given a car to drive home on Friday evening. He also informed us that the car would not be serviced until Monday. I was just concern about having a car since my husband who is 81 had a cardiologist appt on Monday. 9 AM on Monday received a phone call to let me know what they had found and what was needed and that the car did have a slight oil leak and recommended replacement. I find Brian's suggestions to be on target and he is not pushy. I really appreciate his suggestions. I agreed have the leaking oil pump and he informed me that the car would be finished at 2 PM. In the past I have been satisfied with service at Mercedes Benz of Westmont. However they have failed to remedy a recurring issue of squealing brakes in cold weather. During my last visit I was too this happens because of the material used by Mercedes. The are interested in brake performance not necessarily the noise. I’ve leased Mercedes for at least 15 years and this is the only automobile with the squealing brakes. Each time I brought the car in for this problem I was given one excuse or another but never a solution. I think when you pay for a high quality automobile you should expect high quality performance. I feel think is a defect in the car and Mercedes is aware of it I have been driving for many years and this is the first car I’ve ever had with the problem. I hear this noise from trucks on the streets but not a Mercedes.

Several employees wearing their masks around their chins in open spaces. Was at one point in a small room with the loaner car consultant and two guys came in to work on the key cabinet. One had their mask beneath their nose and the other was clear around his chin. So there were four of us in this small room and these guys had no regard for maintaining Covid precautions. If they can?t manage such a simple thing, what safety issues are they missing with my car?!

Hello I have 2005 e320 cdi this model has brake issues so my wife was lost the brakes on the way to work almost had an accident Mercedes has been extended warranty on the brake unit I towed car to the dealer and they checked by the vin car was covered the service advisor explained to me if the car has different problem they will charge me diagnostic fee the guy called me and say Mercedes did not covering the brake issues because of car has rebuilt title and he charged me diagnostic fee I was surprised why they did diagnostic before they have approved from mercedes do any repairs the service advisor was so mean talking with me I so disappointed how they not so respectful to the customer

First off, how about not reneging on a buy back deal. We had agreed on one price and then when it came time to cut the check, they dropped the price by $500. They weren't offering much to begin with. Absolutely ridiculous. Make sure that you have deep pockets for when the warranty runs out. Because you will be paying thousands and thousands of dollars for any repair. For example, they want $200 just for new wiper blades. Will never own a Mercedes ever again. And the company does not stand behind their product. Warranty is 3 years or 36,000 miles. Really???? Save yourself some headaches and a ton of frustration, buy American.

Many issues were revealed after the purchase of a vehicle they claimed had over 100 point inspection. I discovered none of the issues found during the inspection were addressed, including faulty brakes. The inspection was performed at another facility. I discovered the list of problems when I visit the facility where the inspection was performed. The sales associate and Sales manager at Mercedes-Benz of Westmont had no intention of revealing the issues found. When I made a request to address the issues, they replace a working door light on the assumption that it will appease me (5 minutes of work). This by far has been the worst vehicle purchase that I have made during my lifetime. Buyers beware!

First time ever visiting service department. Went right after pumping fuel at Costco because the fuel door literally fell off in my hands when closing it. Dealer said it’s not under warranty. Said it must have been stressed. I’m the only one that has ever put fuel in that car and it’s never been stressed. Their word against mine I guess. Auto has 26000 miles and always driven by myself. I went to the dealer just hoping this would be a quick fix and didn’t even consider this to be anything but defective materials. Totally surprised to be told it had to have been my fault. I’m fuming but not from the fuel. Update: still no resolution. Had to get fuel today for first time since fuel door fell off. Had to pop the latch, catch the door in my hands and then when taking off the fuel cap take the door completely off and set on the ground to fuel up. Classy... person fueling next to me just smiled. I just smiled back and said “not covered under warranty”.

This, by far, was one of the best car-buying experiences I've ever had. I was passively shopping for a Mercedes, had done some research, but had not decided on a model. I stopped by Westmont just to look without the intent to purchase. The salesperson Jim Fico met us at the door. He was pleasant, asked a few questions, was very knowledgeable and not pushy. We looked at a few cars and through the conversation he was able to point us to a car that made sense for my needs - an E400 Coupe pre-owned car. We were able to test drive it 2x, Jim walked us through the car's features with ease and clarity. I decided to purchase the car that day. The paperwork, the process and the closing were seamless. Jim and his team were very helpful and accommodating. There was no pressure, no rush and everyone was very professional. My overall experience wasn't a very good one disappointed to be best put . I was being helped by Mr. García but after I submitted the application around 11 in the morning I was told he would contact me if I was approved or not . But , I was never contacted by him at all I had to call him around 6 in the afternoon to find out that I was not approved . In addition to him telling me that, he told me I should've been called by a manager but I was not . I went on to try to get an explanation on why I was declined , I was told that it was because of a my school loan which my payments are 60 - 80 dollars on . And then was told that my payment on my new car would be somewhere in the range of 1,300 to 1,400 which I was completely fine with and would have done a deal if I would've been offered that . It just doesn't add up to me so It left me confused , disappointed and just made me loose some trust in the process . Reached out to General manager James Cheatham and have yet to hear back from him.

He was laid back, friendly and knowledgeable. I never felt rushed or like he was pushy. He answered questions but mostly let the car speak for itself. Purchased a 2016 Lexus GX460 from Ken the sales manager, began correspondence online at around noon, very little back and forth, agreed to a deal later that day! Went in at around 7 pm, test drove with Jeff and did a walk around, Jeff was a nice guy relaxed and not pushy or aggressive. They fixed it temporarily and it’s back again after one week. Terrible customer service. Just lied to me and conceal the truth.

If you value your time then I would stay away from these guys. They’re not only horrible at the details but my experience reflects the fact that it almost seems like they’ve never sold a car before. Anyone remember vacation the movie with Chevy Chase where they trade in the family car and change their mind and can’t get it back. Before I bought the car they were all over me with every kind of contact point they could manage between texts and voicemail and email. We purchased a certified preowned vehicle that was not ready for sale yet. It had scratches and the inside was pretty dirty along with some lipstick marks and dirt. It also didn’t come with an owners manual. We completed the purchase and we’re sure during the time that the vehicle will be prepped and ready. However we could see that it was just sitting there late on a Friday afternoon and no one was doing anything. So we asked and we kind a got a blank stare. Then to our amazement they just handed us the keys. The sales manager walked by and said you can’t give a Customer a car in their condition. So they told us to come back on the following Tuesday and they will give us a loaner. We returned on Tuesday and they didn’t finish the car so we had to wait until Wednesday. We came back to pick it up and they had only done the outside not the inside. When we called them they told us to return it. Which we did. And when we picked it up the second time we were pretty surprised to see that it just wasn’t done very well at all. It looked like I got a few beers on a Sunday afternoon and decided to take a half a shot at cleaning the inside of my own car. We just decided to let it go because it wasn’t worth the time. But I called them back to tell them that they never transfer the ownership from Mrs. Bobo in New Jersey to us so that after an hour on the phone with Mercedes trying to get Mbrace and SiriusXM working we learned that only the dealer could do this paperwork. So when I called back I asked the sales manager what was up with the detail because it wasn’t done very well and they basically told me that they were in between detailing companies so that the sales person had to go buy the supplies and clean it out in the parking lot. At which point it really wasn’t that happy because it looked like that was the case. They then told me that they got a detailing company so I could bring it back for third time. Which we did. And then despite asking for the owners manual we had to come back because they did forget to put it in the car for the third time. Then I get a text from them saying that the registration in Wisconsin is delayed so they gave me a letter that I’m supposed to give to anyone who pulls me over because I have no license plates. When I asked why there was a delay they sent me a snippy text that said “sometimes there’s just a delay” Well I know where there’s a delay because they processed the registration to use the old license plates which they conveniently didn’t transfer from the old car to the new one. They threw them away. So now because the car is registered in Wisconsin I have to physically make a trip to the department of motor vehicles to give them four dollars to get new plates. So they hand us a car that’s not detailed or clean, isn’t registered to the new owner, screw up the registration, make me take it back three times, make me spend an hour on the phone with Mercedes to get the services registered and then another hour at the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles. Here’s something that sounds trivial but it shows you how they absolutely lack any attention to detail. Call their main number and ask you to press one or two or three. No press three for sales and it takes you to another phone treated ask you to press one or two for sales. Who would set up a phone tree to take you to a phone tree that oh by the way usually ends up in voicemail. I never write reviews. But I really felt like I had to share this experience.

Emailed them last week to start talking about a car. They assigned me a sales guy from their Naperville location when I told them I wanted Westmont as it is close to where I live. Told them that wouldn’t work and have no idea why they tried to send me to Naperville. Long story short we walked into the Westmont location looking to get some information and most likely purchase a new vehicle. They treated us like we didn’t exist. Wouldn’t let us test drive a car, wouldn’t build one out for us to order. Acted like they didn’t want our business and they were too good for us. We are current Mercedes owners and would have paid cash for a new vehicle. I’m actually embarrassed for them with how bad they treated us. Needless to say they lost our business and the service business on our current car. Their sales staff is terrible.

Great service department. They do a great job advising on service and options. Service is performed perfectly and on time. All staff are polite and professional. I've gone to other MB ealerships and Westmont is the best I've experienced.

After 2 1/2 months I finally found the car which met my specifications! I bought a used Mercedes SL from Westmont Mercedes! Then on fifth day I received an ABC suspension failure! Since I'm from St. Louis I took the Mercedes to a dealership here and I instantly contacted the james bloom Who sold me in the car. He said There was nothing he can do about it and we he wished me luck .(The St. Louis dealership which I took it to immediately told me it would take $3950,, and they discovered as additional problem) Westmont Mercedes is an AutoNation subsidiary . Now AutoNation has this five days 250 miles policy you could turn it back in no questions asked! In addition AutoNation has this 125 point inspection/reconditioning! Westmont Mercedes is in breach of that agreement .I contacted james bloom again and then went to his senior manager. Still no luck and they quickly started ignoring me. After contacting AutoNation I finally got Westmont to start talking to me again! This went on for several months. Westmont Mercedes was willing to take the car back after nearly 3 months! I told them NO! for various reasons.(Including insurance settlements, taxes and, and the upgrades I made to the car, to go out and look for car all over again etc) Thoughout this time I was willing to go up to Chicago to have the repairs at their dealership..they wouldn't bite.Al Leon Westmont even said well this suspenion just all the sudden popped up(bad luck on my part) I know it wasn't the case because I contacted the previous owner! He had the very same issue. Finally ,I was willing to settle for $1950 because I really didn't want to sue them in court! I've tried to work with them! I guess I will not be ignored much longer I am going to sue them! I have never been treated so badly by the dishonorable crooks people at Westmont Mercedes. Beware in buying a used car from them. If they can treat me like this for a stinking $1950, when the dealership brings in millions of dollars what can they do to you?. oh They made a minimum of $6000 of my car!

Purchased a S550 preowned, everything was well until i took delivery of the vehicle. I was handed one key and i asked where is the other key and was told the car only came with one. Well i would think that should have been something to address while you’re going over everything else about the vehicle. Definitely not after the contract is signed and its time to drive off the lot. I was then told they can get me an extra key for their cost at my expense of course. No thank you, i just spent $75k with you and you can’t make sure i have atleast two keys for the vehicle you just sold me. I wouldn’t dare spend another dime with this place. Also want to address the Red guard shield warranty this dealership is selling for $4400 for preowned vehicles. They should be ashamed to put Mercedes name and this company anywhere in the same sentence. Just google the reviews for Red Shield extended warranty and see for yourself. I asked another Mercedes dealer why would a Mercedes dealer sell their customers this terrible warranty? They said our dealership would never sell it because customers come in for service and it’s always a bad experience when they have to go thru this warranty company for repairs. So Westmont Mercedes you guys need to do a little better, you’re making Mercedes name lose popularity with these antics and bad products you’re selling your supposedly “valued” customers. I would expect this type of activity at a 28% interest bad credit car lot, not at a reputable Mercedes Benz dealership.

Buyer beware! They will say anything to sell you a car. Even give you false information and then lie about it once you've made the purchase. The GM is totally unprofessional and actually hung up on me when I called to discuss the situation. All he could say was they weren't going to do anything for me. I thought a Mercedes dealership would have a little more class. Stay far, far away.

Service and overall experience! Product knowledge and relationship building! After shopping for some time for a luxury vehicle and having the worst experiences at both the Mercedes and BMW dealerships of Orland Park we were pretty surprised at the level of service at a luxury dealership considering you’re paying at least $50k for a vehicle. We decided to start our search again however this time at Westmont. After looking at both Mercedes and BMW we decided to continue shopping with Mercedes not only because the car was a better fit for us but honestly because our sales person and management made us feel at home. They listened to our needs, they were relatable, they were ultimately great hosts and showed us they wanted our business...not in a pushy way but rather in a honest way. I would recommend the Mercedes of Westmont to anyone looking for a luxury car. In particularly our sales person, Earl. He was ultimately who closed us on the car. His genuine character, easy to talk to and overall approachable demeanor was what we were looking for from a sales person... someone we could trust and we trust Earl the pearl!

Don’t waste your time here. Sales staff is incompetent. Finance people are shockingly even more incompetent. We took our approval down the street to another dealership and were treated very well. Still waiting on a call back from any department. I’m guessing the call isn’t coming. I love Mercedes products. We have always has at least one. Buy your vehicle someplace else.

Dave Legner is a great sales guy to deal with. He is extremely knowledgeable about Mercedes and put no pressure on me to buy (the car itself did that). He lined up two cars for me to test drive, answered all my questions, kept me informed on the progress of my car from Germany, was consistently helpful and friendly and gave me some great "down-to-earth" advice. As for the car itself, it was delivered in perfect condition. Everybody went out of their way to make delivery a great experience - Dave, Christina, even the license plate guy. Oh, and when I realized that I had forgotten to present my $500 off Mercedes Club certificate, Dave and Christina did the paperwork over again the next day to ensure that I got the discount. This was the best car-buying experience I've ever had.

The Service Department has done a complete overhaul, and is terrible. The customer service was unorganized, clueless, and gave me a used car salesperson feeling. In a failed attempt to have service completed on my car, I was told to go home and get my paperwork because they could not find it. Wow.... I don’t think the guy looked. He told me “I will show you the system”.... but how does this help me. I have a wheel and tire plan and have had 4 tires changed at the Westmont location. Because he could not find it I had to go home to get my paperwork. I was told the warranty I purchased was too difficult to work with.... and they would probably not accept them anymore. “Re-ally “ If Rob is an example of 30 years of experience, then he should be washing cars instead of proving S550 customer service. I would give Westmont a -0- in service.

Kelli who is the assistant manager in service department was terrible. I couldn’t believe anyone would just walk someone you’ve never met before into their office without asking them their name or even introducing themself n find out what brought them in. I truly felt , I was treated this way cos I am AFRICAN. Kelli Never introduced herself, had a terrible flat affect. One would think you spend all this money to purchase a Mercedes and not to mention how much you spend to get service done on these luxury cars n you deserve at least just standard/average customer service. Not sure what kind of example she’s setting for her staff since she’s the assistant manager I can say I have had better experience at McGrath Acura of Westmont n Audi of Westmont. My experience at Mercedes Benz of Westmont with Kelli has made me not ever purchase another Mercedes. Terrible experience!!!

Service department should be named the lack of service department. I took my S Class In because I’ve got a side marker lamp housing had broken off for the 5th time. I’m extremely meticulous about my vehicle. There has been no negligence whatsoever on my part. I honestly think it’s a design flaw. Service manager was non sympathetic ever after the assistant manager was too and wanted to charge me an hour labor to have it reinstalled after I purchased yet another one from the parts department. I’ve been considering purchasing another vehicle but, would never buy it from there. Shame too as it’s the closest to where I live. Not my first poor experience there but, never reached out to social media kept giving them another chance. That’s over!

I purchased a certified preowned E350 from the sales team here. I’m going to state this first the SALES side of this business is NOT the problem it’s the Service side. Very dishonest, uneducated and unprofessional service team. Being that this was my first Mercedes purchase I wasn’t sure how the HVAC system worked in this vehicle. I made an appointment because my a\c light was on and i didn’t think that was right to be on all the time. They tried adding a flex b service to my vehicle to up sale me a oil change that was not needed yet. This raised a red flag to me when I seen this.. anyways The service team contacted me and said that my problem was not under warranty due to the fact I sabotaged my own vehicle by spilling coffee on the hvac pcm/ecu and caused a faulty code. ( everything worked as it should in the instrument panel, no sticky buttons ect) and no I did not spill any type of liquid over my dashboard if I were to do that I’m sure we would have much larger problems then the ac button on that’s it. I then asked my service tech Gerson for the code that was being thrown by the ECU he was unable to provide it at that time but he said he would get back to me he never did. Westmont originally wanted $1200 for the repair I told them no thank you. Then I received a call from AL who is the service manger he said he was willing to drop the price to $800.00 I said no thank you. I picked the car up and made another appointment at another Mercedes Benz location they inspected my car found 0 faulty codes and explained to me that the ac button is suppose to be on for dehumidifier reasons. The tech then took me inside his own personal vehicle that was the same model and year is my car and showed me his car does the same thing as mine. Never again will I look towards this westmont location ever again I wouldn’t trust them putting air in my tires.

I scheduled a service appointment for February 6 because the engine trouble light indicator on my vehicle was activated. I asked what was the charge to diagnose the problem. The customer service person said there was no charge to diagnose and once the problem was analyzed an estimate for repair would be given. When I arrived I was told to sign a service agreement authorizing a charge for approximately $183 to cover the diagnosis. I told the service person that was not what I was told on phone. He acted surprised and asked me the persons name and I did not know but only related it was a female. I was surprised by the treatment and ever more surprised he would expect me to know the name of a customer service person who schedules appointments. I felt he was questioning the truthfulness of my statement. I told him I felt this was unethical and left. Very disappointed in my treatment! Steve
